Does Savannah Ga Have a Zoo?

While there are no traditional zoos in Savannah, there is something so much better!

Oatland Island Wildlife Center sits just 15-20 minutes from the Savannah historic district.

Oatland is home to 95 animals from 39 different species.

There are over 100 acres to give the animals plenty of room to live in natural habitats.

You'll walk trails through maritime forest and marshlands. They even have wagons and strollers to rent.

Oatland Island is part of the Savannah - Chatham County Public School system and students visit year round.

The Center is open to the public 360 days of year for a nominal admission fee.
