Jekyll Island Boat Tours

Jekyll Island Boat Tours has earned serious recognition – they’re Trip Advisor’s Travelers’ Choice Best of the Best in the USA for boat tours. They depart right from Historic Jekyll Wharf, and their dolphin tours are $35 for ages 16 and up, $25 for kids 4-15, and free for little ones 3 and under.

Island Catch Charters

Island Catch Charters with Captain Chris offers more than just bottlenose dolphins – you might spot sea turtles, manatees, egrets, herons, roseate spoonbills, and osprey during your trip. Captain Chris knows where to find the wildlife and makes sure everyone gets great views.

Coastal Expeditions

Coastal Expeditions combines dolphin watching with a scenic cruise down the Intracoastal Waterway for views of the Jekyll Island Club and Historic District. Their 60-minute tours are $200 for up to 6 people, and they also offer beautiful sunset cruises if you want to time your dolphin watching with golden hour.

Island Angler Charters

Island Angler Charters offers the most variety with 3 to 6-hour trips covering offshore, inshore, and nearshore fishing. You can target everything from redfish and trout to tarpon and cobia, with trips designed for different skill levels – including special 3-hour kids trips and longer 6-hour offshore adventures. They take up to 6 passengers and you can check them out at islandanglercharters.net.

Island Catch Charters

Island Catch Charters specializes in inshore fishing with both day and night trips available. They also offer special kids fishing trips, making it a great choice for families who want to get the little ones hooked on fishing.

Spartina Adventures

Spartina Adventures focuses on inshore species like redfish, speckled trout, flounder, and tripletail with trips for up to 4 anglers. Their 4-hour inshore trips are $500 for 2 anglers, 6-hour inshore or nearshore runs $650, and full 8-hour days are $850 (add $50 for each extra angler up to the 4-person max).

Coastal Expeditions

Jekyll Island Boat Tours offers unique shrimping tours during the off-season that take up to 48 passengers into the coastal marshlands and rivers. These 75-minute trips dive deep into ecology and environmental issues affecting the coastal estuary – perfect if you want to learn while you explore.

Shark Tooth Excursions

Island Catch Charters offers shark tooth hunting trips. Contact them directly for details about these popular treasure-hunting adventures that are perfect for kids!

Sightseeing

Coastal Expeditions takes sightseeing to the next level with trips to Cumberland and Little Cumberland Island where you have a chance of seeing the famous wild horses and the lighthouse. These 2-hour tours are $300 for up to 6 passengers and include all the wildlife viewing of their dolphin tours plus fascinating stories about this privately owned island.
