The Tybean Art & Coffee Bar

In a super quirky building on the North End, you’ll find Tybean Art & Coffee Bar near Huc-a-Poo’s. This female-owned establishment has a unique atmosphere and is open til 1:00 pm every day of the weak.

They have premium drip coffees and cold brews (made from Atlanta-based Dancing Goats coffee, (easily the best coffee in the city) as well a smoothies, homemade pastries, and frappes.

I love the cinnamon bun latte and the dirty oat chai latte, but don’t miss out on the tasty breakfast options like the breakfast burrito or the cinnamon crunch muffin either!

The Breakfast Club

The Breakfast Club is a Tybee Island institution that has been operating since 1976. This no-frills diner serves up hearty breakfast basics that are done the old fashioned way- crispy hashbrowns, hearty egg plates, and breakfast sandwiches made with homemade sausage will start your day off right. The pecan waffle here is absolutely to die for, too!

Insider Tip: The line can get pretty long here, but it moves fairly quickly, so don’t be deterred. If you see less than 10 people in that line, jump on in!

In a small strip mall near Sting Ray’s Seafood you’ll find Mi Vida, an adorable little coffee shop that is worth a visit. The husband and wife team that owns Mi Vida set out to provide Tybee Island with drinks and eats made with local, organic, fresh ingredients.

Try their colorful acai bowls, fresh-squeezed juices, and toasts piled high with ingredients like Iberico ham, poached egg, Manchego cheese, and avocado. The is the best place on the island to find vegan breakfast options, too!

If you’ve been to any coastal vacation destination in the south, you’re probably familiar with Wet Willie’s “world famous” daquiris. But what is it doing on this list of the best breakfast places on Tybee Island?

In addition to those famous frozen drinks, they also have great food! The breakfast burritos are super hearty with scrambled eggs, bacon, home fries, and cheese, and the chicken biscuits and bagel sandwiches are perfect for taking to the beach with you.

They even have shrimp and grits! Their cheese grits are topped with sherry and blackened shrimp, and a tomato bacon gravy makes for the perfect finish.

Insider Tip: You’ll find Wet Willie’s on Tybrisa Street just a short walk from the pier. If you’re headed to the beach, call in your order ahead and pick it up after you park to enjoy it on the beach!

Don’t be confused when you pull on to The Surfing Goat and see a sign for Lighthouse Pizza. Just under the sign you’ll notice that while the pizza shop is on the left, to the right is The Surfing Goat Coffee & Bagel Bar!

While their specialty coffee drinks are what gets you in the door, the signature steamer bagel sandwiches will have you coming back again and again. The bagels are toasted and steamed, resulting in the perfect crispy texture on the outside while still being delightfully soft on the inside.
